US Backs UK Free Trade Talks
The US will seek to negotiate a free trade agreement with the UK as soon as possible after it exits the European Union, US House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan said.
During his recent visit to the UK, he said once the UK has negotiated its exit from the EU, free trade talks should start as soon as practical.
He said that the Trump Administration would take forward talks concerning the Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement with the European Union and said "the United States stands ready to forge a new trade agreement with Great Britain..."
