Singapore and Jersey - two offshore, whose services are in regular demand by employers, leading international business, have taken a step to improve their economic attractiveness. Two jurisdictions have come to agreement on avoidance of double taxation.
October 17, 2012 Singapore and Jersey have signed a double taxation avoidance agreement.
Singapore continues to hold a leading position in the competition with Hong Kong, the number of signed and acting agreements on the avoidance of double taxation. However, the tax benefits provided by a number of agreements for the avoidance of double taxation between Hong Kong and other countries are more attractive in Hong Kong.
